Building Energy Rating Certificate
A BER certificate is required in the following circumstances.
When you are selling a house or apartment.
When you are renting a house or apartment.
When you are claiming a grant for works carried out which entitle you to a SEAI grant (i.e. external wall insulation)
When you have been granted planning permission you will need to carry out a professional BER cert.
When your house is being rented through a local county council under the Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS)

A BER certificate is an indication of the energy performance of a property. It will quantify the energy use for water heating, space heating, ventilation, and lighting.

We are fully licensed and registered with SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland).
A detailed survey will be carried out by our assessor and a BER certificate will be published.
An Advisory Report will be provided with the BER certificate.
The property will now have a detailed energy assessment with a summary of the various improvements that can be made to the property to improve its efficiency and energy rating.
Our survey usually takes about one hour and the BER cert + Advisory report are completed within 3 days approximately.

All costs include VAT and SEAI charges to publish, therefore no hidden costs.
Note: Prices can vary slightly dependant on location and size of property.
BER after upgrade works are more time consuming as they require more calculations and material information.
